Microsoft & Graffiti Kings goes worldwide.

What they required : Microsoft needed a world class graffiti artist to be a part of their ‘I’m a PC’ Campaign to be shown worldwide.

Outcome : Microsoft searched and headhunted all over the World for a Graffiti artist that they were happy to represent them in their campaign and chose none other than Graffiti Kings very own CEO & BIG poppa Darren Cullen aka SER! Their diverse campaign was complemented by us in a way of showing ‘The world is your canvas’ quite literally for us but also sending a direct message of creativity to capture the audience into this innovative thinking that both Microsoft and GK have in abundance. Microsoft contacting us goes to show the gaining momentum, strength and impact of graffiti art as a marketing tool in today’s society. As a society we appreciate and understand graffiti as an art form more today than any other generation before. It’s only onwards and upwards from here.

We see many companies using graffiti incorrectly & by doing so they actually alienate themselves from the exact same audience they believed they were targeting.

We can guarantee authenticity by helping create the correct look & feel needed for any project.

Graffiti Kings vs NPower & Hollywood hard man Vinnie Jones.

What they required : Former Crazy-Gang member and Hollywood hard man, Vinnie Jones has teamed up with the npower Football League to launch a new campaign that aims to tackle anti-social behaviour in the nation’s youth through football.

Npower saw it only fit to include the BEST street art team in the UK, the Graffiti Kings, to produce a backdrop that will catch young people’s eye and pay attention to this message. Street art is seen as cool by young people, along with football being very popular, this positively promotes the message that it would be cooler to participate in football schemes over anti social behaviour.

Outcome : Our street art in itself supports the message of tackling anti – social behaviour through creativity and productivity. So the combination of the two worked really well together. Npower inspires a generation of kids to get off the streets and get on the football pitch which through our part in this viral campaign we have helped deliver this vision. Young people recognise that npower have made the effort to understand what makes them tick and what they like. This is where npower have made the correct decision and have been successful. Will you?

Lucozade hire the Graffiti Kings :) well who else would they hire :)

What they required : A design that was in keeping with their 7 new bottle designs but also added with Graffiti Kings’ magic touch!

It was to be a backdrop for a photo shoot featuring the music artists on the bottles; White Lies, Calvin Harris, Plan B, Kelis, Tinie Tempah, Yasmin & Wretch 32. Compiled as part of their marketing campaign for these new products, they chose street art. Why? It’s an appealing, exciting art form which Lucozade’s target market can relate with.

Outcome : A massive photorealistic project with only a few days turn around proves we can always come up with the goods under high pressure. The artwork was used for online marketing which due to it having a fresh urban look & not like your everyday corporate advert, it went MEGA viral. Painted together onto a combination of 7 boards, it was later split up and entered into a competition.

Graffiti Kings & Fox Movies

What they required : A HUGE street art guerrilla marketing campaign across sites all over the UK for their new movie, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES.

The brief was that the designs must be reflective of the story of the film – Evolution meets revolution, and envisage the achievements of intelligent apes. A fun, innovative way of advertising, that isn’t a two minute plastering job, but something people can visually see over a course of a day evolve. All the time it is up there, it creates a lot of attention. It is something different for people to look at. Simply because it is exactly that, different, people will look at it and consume it.

Outcome : Due to the live presence of the artist in broad daylight gave walkers an intriguing sight with many stopping to take pictures of what was unleashing before them. The pictures being taken by the public was in a instant uploaded live to their Twitter & Facebook pages with tens of thousands retweeting & tagging themselves in the Facebook photos. The process of creating the pieces creates a lot of attention in itself. It goes viral in seconds as people update pictures of a piece of art evolve right before their eyes. They tell their friends there is a live graffiti artist as we are known to be a rare sighting. Due to the explosive popularity of graffiti, we were covered in a new on the spot interview with BBC One about using new tactics such as guerrilla marketing campaigns as an advertising tool.

Red Bull vs Graffiti Kings

What they required : We were asked by Red Bull to provide them with an old skool graffiti hip hop wall at the Red Bull Studios for the launch of the new book: Hip-Hop: A Cultural Odyssey.

A hip hop timeline theme with iconic images people associate with hip hop including street art itself! They had no choice but to include our graffiti to increase the authenticity of the book and launch. They gave us 100% creative control & hoped we knew what we was doing.

Outcome : They was over the moon J giving us 100% creative control was key as we are graffiti & graffiti is hip hop, Red Bull are a drinks company. We gave them a masterful piece reflecting hip hop culture as a backdrop for the evening which many celebrities queued up to have a picture taken in front of, Facebook & Twitter went into meltdown with photos & Red Bull got more than they wanted. It was a great night, great music, and great scenery. You couldn’t have asked for more for such a cultural event.

Just finished working on the new Wretch 32 music video.

YouTube Preview Image

What they required : An edgy, provocative music video set for up and coming star Wretch 32’s video ‘Don’t go’!

The wings were there as a visual to spark the imagination of the girl leaving by flying away, whilst the girl holding the umbrella in the rain shows the sorrow behind her leaving. These images were reflective of the lyrics ‘Don’t go’

Outcome : An interesting and original focal point for a video which has reached nearly 1.3 million views on youtube. Graffiti Kings team up with Channel4.

.

What they required: In summer 2011 Channel 4 was celebrating British street culture with some quality new programmes dedicated to the different elements of street-level genius, focusing on: street dance, urban sports, spoken word, hip hop and street art. They required a legendary street artist to represent London and judge the graffiti competition and so wanted none other than Graffiti Kings CEO Darren ‘SER’ Cullen, a pioneer in UK street art since 1983.

Outcome: A successful campaign with many participants in the competition. Voting for the competition was online via C4, Facebook & Twitter, the response was MASSIVE, so massive that there was a 2nd short movie made, the live painting of the winning mural went viral & for a few weeks Graffiti was bigger news.

Royal Shakespeare Company & the Graffiti Kings

What they required : They wanted a street look, something completely different to what you would usually associate with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The RSC are a progressive company who understand the need to evolve, to reflect the cultural changes in our society. Interest in Graffiti/street art is growing so rapidly it was only a matter of time a company of RSC’s prestige got in touch.

Outcome : Over a hundred years of history at the RSC they have always used their own artists to design their sets. This time they looked to us. To create something that will relate to those who are spending their money which is the current generation and the up and coming generation that are intrigued by street art. The set is certainly an extraordinary piece that converged all sides of the walls and floor together as one. They got more than they expected & a tear drop or 2 was dropped.

Adidas AdiPower meets Team GK

What they required : A unique street art product launch theme to establish a cool, youthful image among Adidas’ new football boot.

A product launch attended by the world’s greatest football stars including Robin Van Persie and Kaka! The brief from Adidas was simple; they said ‘Do what you do best :) revolved around our new football boot’. So we did and they loved it!

Outcome : An impressive, eye catching spectacle. They wanted outstanding pieces of authentic street graffiti as their football boot backdrop and got more than they could have possibly imagined! A fun day for all involved. When clients like Adidas keep coming back to you, you know you’re doing something right! We love working with Adidas and long may our great relationship continue!

Graffiti Kings pimp Jamie Olivers TV school

What he required: Jamie Oliver asked us to re-energize his new school to make it a more ‘cool’, interesting and youth friendly atmosphere ready for his new TV show.

Outcome: He is of the generation who has grown up with graffiti as well as his target audience. If he’d of been a brand over 80 years old, I’m sure he would have gone down the same old digital design route. He knows what he, other people his age and younger are attracted to. Street art is what is appreciated by these generations who are behind the growth in this industry which will keep on growing. We created an abstract style of street art reflecting an atmosphere geared towards the direction of the TV show which was to enable creativity in school cooking.

The British Inspiration Awards invite the Graffiti Kings.

We was asked to paint a Graffiti canvas live throughout the event & at the end of the night the artwork was auctioned by Richard Madeley to raise money……… The painting sold for a MASSIVE £6000 WOW.

Awards are given to pioneers in art, music, design, fashion, entertainment, science, industry and technology, who live and work in Britain. Their website states “It’s a chance for business and individuals to thank all of the people past and present who have made Britain their home, added to our rich culture and given us the opportunities we all enjoy”

Graffiti Kings artists were on hand to create artwork live in front of the crowd. The unique piece was then auctioned for charity and raised £6000. Many guests at the London venue discussed our art with us and the fact that our company offers more than just graffiti mural services like team building workshops and live event entertainment led to speculation that in a few years perhaps we will be nominated for an award ourselves! I’m not sure about that but I am sure that we will continue to push the boundaries of modern graffiti relentlessly.
